A Special Event..

One of the most fun and interesting times of my life so far was when I went to Perth last year.  We travelled in a group of 4, and 1 teacher, and were there for the FPS National Finals. We stayed for five days, and visited many places around Perth during our visit.  The place where we stayed… well…. you wouldn’t exactly call it nice, but it was good enough. We didn’t do so well in the competition but it didn’t matter. Some of the places we visited were the Perth Zoo, where we got a little bit obsessed with the meerkats…J, and the Science Museum. We also went to Fremantle prison, and the chocolate factory, which was definitely a favourite amongst the group. But overall, I think the best place we went to was Rottnest Island. It was fairly small, but so pretty… the water was really clear and blue and the scenery was beautiful.

We even went for a swim, even though the water was pretty cold. I think we all had a lot of fun, and I know that my trip to Perth will be one of those things that I will remember forever.

Some people would know I like funny quotes and sayings, just cause they lighten up your day. So here are some I thought I would share.. to lighten up anyone’s day:

“I’m gonna live forever, or die trying”

That is my philosophy, which reminds me to never take life too seriously. Anyway, I just want to thank you all for reading my post, and I hope I don’t bore you all before I’ve even begun cause that would just be really sad… Anyway, here is a bit of info about me, in case you wanted to know:

My hobbies are sport, reading, hanging out with friends, listening to music etc. I’d have to say that my favourite sport would be hockey, but I enjoy all team sports cause it just makes it more fun. My favourite subjects are probably Maths, Science and Business. I like all music really, but my favourite at the moment would be Jason Mraz, Kings of Leon and Chris Brown. I don’t really have a favourite food, anything sweet is good!!! My favourite books (its really hard to choose) are Mao’s Last Dancer, the Book Thief and the Kite Runner. I’d have to say my favourite TV shows are Thank God You’re Here, Rove and Spicks and Specks. I also love listening to Hamish and Andy. Yea so thats about it for now…
